Delete your Movin account

We are sad to see you go. Use this page to permanently delete your Movin account — even if you have uninstalled the app. To make sure it is really you, we will email a one-time confirmation link.

How it works

  1. Enter the email address on your Movin account.
  2. We email you a confirmation link. The link is valid for 1 hour and can only be used once.
  3. Click the link to permanently delete your account. The action cannot be undone.

What gets deleted

  • Your profile, photo, bio, and account settings.
  • Activities you have joined, your participation history, and any ratings or reviews tied to your account.
  • Your friendships, chat messages, and notifications.
  • Activities you host — when there are other participants, hosting is transferred to one of them so the activity can continue. Otherwise the activity is removed.

What may be retained

Aggregated and anonymised analytics may be retained for product and safety purposes as described in our Privacy Policy. Where law requires, we may retain limited records (for example, to comply with abuse or fraud investigations) until the retention obligation expires.

Hosting a community?

If your account currently hosts one or more communities, deletion will be blocked until you transfer ownership or disband them. You will see a clear message at the confirmation step if this applies.

Other ways to delete

If you still have the app installed, you can also delete your account in Settings → Delete account. The in-app flow is immediate and skips the email step. Use this page if you have already uninstalled.
